Welcome to the WCRPG Wiki[]
The Wing Commander Role-Playing Game is a pen-and-paper version of the ground-breaking, award-winning game series originally developed and released by Origin Systems in the 1990s. Spanning all eras of the WC universe, WCRPG invites players to live the stories they only wished they could experience in the original games...
This site is the main development area for the project. The Core Rules that appear on this wiki are the same as those that appear in the free PDF and hardback versions of the game released on May 14, 2013. A standalone mission for the completed game, Prelude to Goddard, was released on June 16, 2012 to coincide with Free RPG Day; the text of the mission is available here, as is a PDF version through the Wing Commander CIC website. A standalone mini-campaign, Enyo, was prepared in honor of the Wing Commander CIC's 14th birthday on August 11, 2012; the text of this campaign is available here and via a PDF at CIC. A second mini campaign, Vespus, was prepared in honor of the Wing Commander CIC's 15th birthday on August 11, 2013; the text of this campaign is available here and via a PDF at CIC. Another project, a pencil-and-paper version of Wing Commander: Armada, was released as yet another project on January 15, 2012; its intended purpose was as a testbed for a planned strategic game set in the Wing Commander Universe and as an immediate way to use sets of wargaming tokens that were developed specifically for WCRPG (which are also available on this site). Those who have worked on these various projects to date have not at any point made any profit on any of the aforementioned products. Hardbacks copies of the Core Rules, Prelude, Enyo and Vespus were previously available via Lulu; as of October 9, 2014, hardbacks are no longer being offered and will not be for an indefinite period.
A full campaign entitled An Elegy for Sivar has been in development since July 30, 2013. There is no timeline currently available for its final release; development is ongoing at this site.
For those who would like to contribute to the overall project (in terms of data farming, producing artwork or writing/editing), wiki-style forums have been established at this site and threads exist for the discussion of the various projects at the Wing Commander CIC forum; a companion thread for the Core Rules also exists at the Roberts Space Industries forums in the Other Projects>>Wing Commander section. Links to these forums have been provided below along with a number of other useful sites and links as listed below. If you'd like to contribute, you may post your contributions at any one of the forums. Fan contributions to the project are always welcome and contributors will be credited for any work they choose to share with the community.
